Cookies, tracking, and Global Privacy Control
TutorAP currently uses necessary browser storage to remember privacy choices. We do not currently use third-party analytics, advertising cookies, or marketing pixels. If you enable Global Privacy Control in your browser, TutorAP treats that signal as an opt-out of optional tracking.
See the Cookie Notice for more detail.
Sale or sharing of personal information
TutorAP does not currently sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, TutorAP should update this notice and provide a clear opt-out before doing so.
Children and students
TutorAP is intended for high school students, parents or guardians, and tutors. It is not directed to children under 13. If a child under 13 submits personal information, a parent or guardian may contact us to request deletion. Students under 18 should use the site with parent or guardian involvement when submitting contact information.
Disclosures
We may disclose information to service providers that host, secure, email, or operate the site; to tutors or families when a user asks us to help make a connection; to comply with law; or as part of a business transfer. Service providers should be allowed to use personal information only to provide services to TutorAP.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, unless a longer period is required by law. Launch-list emails should be retained until the user unsubscribes or asks for deletion. Server logs are retained according to hosting and security needs.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards for a small website. No website or email transmission is perfectly secure.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, and information about how personal information is used or disclosed. California residents may also request to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain sensitive information uses, and be free from discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
To exercise rights, email privacy@tutorap.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law.
EEA, UK, and Swiss visitors

TutorAP is based in the United States, so information may be processed in the United States. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
